What this website collects, why, and how to change your choice. Last updated on 12 October 2026.
This website is published by the European Reuse Barometer. For any question about your data, write to hello@reusebarometer.eu.
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to understand how it is used. The service counts:
For this, Google Analytics stores cookies on your device (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) and collects technical data: the pages visited, the time of the visit, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. The IP address is shortened before it is stored. The website does not record your name, your email address or any other data that identifies you directly.
Google processes this data on behalf of the European Reuse Barometer, under Google's data processing terms. Part of the processing may take place on servers in the United States. Google LLC takes part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection. Google Analytics keeps the detailed data for the retention period set in the tool, which is two months by default; aggregated reports are kept longer.
Nothing is measured until you click "Accept" in the banner shown at your first visit. If you click "Decline", no Google Analytics script is loaded and no cookie is set. Your choice is stored in your browser so that the banner is not shown again.
You can change your choice at any time: click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page, and the banner appears again. You can also delete the cookies from your browser settings.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask for access to the data concerning you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@reusebarometer.eu. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
